  1. I believe that courage is something that someone already has. When someone isn't scared, and will stand up for what they believe in. When you know someone is right and you don't take no for an answer. JFK was our old president. He made a speech in berlin about letting the Berliners become free. He tried to convince them to take down the wall.

    2. You forgot to capitalize "Berlin". "Our old president"? more like "A past president"

    3. Courage can be obtained, real life isn't like the stories and movies like you think. Everyone's born with the potential to be something great, but that doesn't mean people are automatically born with shining armor and a white horse... Everyone must work to be what they want to be. No exceptions.

  3. Courage is sorta like bravery, in a few ways. I honestly don't know what the heck it is, so I think it'll be best if I stick to my area's of expertise and talk about JFK now. JFK was a president who was famous for a few different things, namely being young and attractive, and also the fact that he was assassinated, making him a member of an elite "club" of sorts, if you want to refer to it as such. Many people seem to enjoy drawing connections between him and Lincoln, but I seriously doubt it's anything but hype. Evidently he had some things to say about courage himself, so perhaps i'll be able to give a more appropriate definition after reading his book.

  4. Courage is walking into high school for the first day of Freshman year. Courage is finally asking your crush on a date. Everyone has courage. Without courage, how would anything get done? Someone had to have courage to open the first McDonalds, or the first WalMart. JFK was one of our presidents. I know he got shot. I know he gave the speech "I am a Berliner"; not much else though.

  5. Courage is something that some people, mostly people who have a leadership quality, have courage. This is where they take risks, go forth doing something that other people wont have the guts to do. Having courage betters a person to give them a higher standard for themselves.

JFK was a former President who was assassinated by a bullet in the head. He was one Presidents everyone was thankful to have, but sadly lost him. JFK was shot in his vehicle during a celebration of some sort and his wife was sitting beside him during this tragic moment.

JFK was the 35th president of the United State. He was a very powerful speaker, that stood up for what was right. Because of this, he was assassinated during his presidency. The day he died we lost a great man, one we will never be able to replace.

  12. Courage is the ability to do something you know to be right, but it is not easy to do so and you risk losing something by doing it. The difficulties could be social stigma, physical incapability, or a mental struggle. Courage is looking something scary in the face and doing the right thing anyway. It is choosing the hard way out instead of the easy way. I know little to nothing about John. F. Kennedy, the class just watched a video about his speech I am a Berliner. Also he was assassinated.

  13. Courage is a trait that gives a person the power to take action in the most extreme event, courage is seeing a shark attacking someone and going to punch that shark in the eye. Courage is very similar to bravery except its doing something that frightens you. All I know about JFK is that he was our president and he was assassinated and he was also the youngest to die. There were many theories about what happened but everyone knows he was shot, lots of people kind of over evaluate it.

  14. Courage is the ability to do what is right in the face of great adversity. Courage, my fellow Earthians, is the ability to to face misinformation whit facts, like that one time you ran over the pedestrian, and faced the reality that you would either go to jail and let your family starve, or face this pedestrian's lifeless face and give them the anonymous burial that they so deserve at the intersection of Wilson & Wudrow. JFK was some guy who was a president once. He had lots of sex and was great at talking. Maybe that's why he had so much sex. It is also my understanding that he had a funny accent.

  27. Courage is the willingness and ability to do what is best overall, even if it defies the peace that you hold in the moment. Being courageous doesn't just mean that you are willing to stand when everyone else remains seated, but that you are conscientious of when it is necessary; people with an astounding amount of courage don't have to flaunt it or speak of it in order to make it known. People see it, they're gravitated to it. Most people just hide behind their reputations now, however. Acts of rebellion are looked down upon in the beginning, but often considered legendary once the end result has come.

JFK was the 35th president of the United States. He was a great speaker, and a great president. His life was cut short when he was assassinated. I don't know too much about him, as I'm obsessed with Herbert Hoover... How can I not be? That name never leaves my brain.
