Jensen broke Strunks nose so Jensen broke his to make it even. they became friends and made a deal. the deal was that if one of them is really badly injured the other would end the pain and misery. Stunk loses his leg and is taken to a hospital in a helicopter but dies on the way there.

The agreement dealt with the situation of one of them getting wounded very bad. In this case the other one has to kill him.
But when Lee Strunk lost his leg, he told Dave Jensen not to kill him.
Although Dave Jensen did not kill him, he died very soon.
The rest of the platoon was told he died somewhere over Chu Lai.

DeleteCurt Lemon was blown apart by something that they don't know what it was. Him and Kiley were playing hot potato with a smoke grenade. Curt walked out from under the shaded tree that they were playing under and then he just blew up. Pieces of him were in the trees and on the ground. They had to peel him off the tree. Kiley wrote to Curt's sister and when he waited two months for her to write back, when she didn't he called her a dumb cooze.

DeleteIn enemies lee Strunk and Dave Jenson did not like each other. They got in a fight and Dave Jensen Beat the crap out of Lee Strunk and broke his nose. Then Dave was scared Lee was going to get him back so Dave broke his own nose. So Lee it was fair and they became friends again.

DeleteThe Incident with the water buffalo was very brutal. Rat Kiley shot the buffalo a lot of times he didn’t kill it the first time he wanted to make it suffer. The reason he did it was because he was so upset that he lost his best friend Curt Lemon. He wanted to make someone else suffer the same way he is. Rat Kiley and Curt Lemon were good friends because they had a lot in common and joked around a lot and played catch with smoke bombs until Curt Lemon died by a underground mine and made Rat Kiley very upset so he made the baby water buffalo suffer.

But they did have a deal even signed it on paper and had witnesses, The deal was if one got shot the other had to end it. After the deal strunk steps on a booby trap, He losses his leg but jenson dose not want to kill him But a little while later they heard that Strunk died, Jenson was so relived.

ReplyDeleteDave Jensen and Lee Struck became friends by getting even with each other, Dave Jensen got in a fight with Lee Struck and broke his nose, over a missing jackknife Dave was scared that lee would want to get revenge on him so he broke his nose to call it even Dave Jensen went crazy, then they made a deal with each other if one of them get injured to put the other one down, Lee Struck got injured and he told Dave Jensen not to kill him and Lee Struck made him swear not to kill him so Dave Jensen swore , then soon after Lee Struck died because he lost to much blood.
ReplyDeletethe reason lee strunk and dave jensen became friends is because they got into a fight the reason for the fight is that lee stole dave's jack knife and dave got mad and confronted him about it and they faught dave broke lee's nose and afterwards dave drove himself crazy thinking that lee is plotting revenge and he broke his own nose with a pistol handle to get even after that they became friends and made a promise to each other that if anything bad happened to one of them they would kill the injured one day lee stepped on a mine and it blew off his leg and lee told him not to kill him so he didnt he died from loosing too much blood.

DeleteIt all started when Lee Strunk stole Dave Jensen's jackknife. Dave fought Lee and kept repeatedly punching Lee in the face until he heard a cracking sound which was the sound of Lee's nose breaking. So Lee goes to the hospital and when he returns two days later, Jensen thinks Lee is hell-bent set on revenge. Dave turns into some sort of crazy paranoid person who can't take the suspense of it all anymore, so he breaks his own nose and goes over to Lee and shows him what he did and asks if everything is square and Lee says sure. They begin to trust each other and finally become best good friends.
